My BlogFather

Like most blogs, this one was started not knowing what it would become or how long it would last. As I was updating my comments from the old site (if you're a subscriber sorry about the flood) I noticed that from the beginning Justin Scott, more than anyone else, has kept me blogging. As a loyal reader, commenter, and sharer he encouraged me when I'm right and challenged me when I'm wrong. Here's a hat tip to a couple of his recent worthwhile posts:
Thanks to everyone who reads and comments. If you're feeling left out, go out there and start a blog. Not committed enough, at least share what you read.

  1. Friend, there is no question that's one of the nicest things anyone's ever done for me or said about me. What an unexpected, fantastic surprise to read this on a Wednesday morning. What an encouragement.

It has been a pleasure reading, writing, fighting, and sharing alongside you. Despite the many times which I've let my emotions get the best of me in our debates, I really do enjoy reading your ideas, what's got you puzzled, what's got you frustrated, and what's making you excited and hopeful. If this is the bottleneck, I can't imagine how much crazy awesomeness is in the bottle.

    Peace to you.

You are the reason why I do not write privately. I would love to hear your thoughts, whether you agree or not.
